Tis the Season for Giving
Adopt-a-Family and Toy Drive! – Now through December 15
Give back this Holiday Season by helping those in need! We are partnering with Serve 6.8, a local Fort Collins non-profit, and hosting our own Adopt-a-family Christmas tree! Stop by the office to pick a child’s gift ornament, purchase the requested item and return the tag and your unwrapped gift to the office by December 15th! We are also collecting any new toys to be donated as well. For more information please visit serve68.org/adopt-a-family . Thank you for helping us give back to our community!
Colorado Gives Day – Tuesday, December 10
It’s the 10th anniversary of Colorado Gives Day! This annual statewide movement celebrates local nonprofits. Each donation given online on December 10th will be matched with the $1.5 Million Incentive Fund (made possible by community members and businesses). For more information, visit ColoradoGives.org.

Denver Christkindl Market – Now until December 23rd
This annual event brings authentic German and European holiday traditions to Denver! Guests can find delicious cuisine, festive German drinks, handmade jewelry, toys, clothing, gifts and much more. Live entertainment is featured inside the festival tent every evening, and dancing is highly encouraged!
Old Town Square Skate Rink – Now until February 2nd
Enjoy winter seasonal family fun on the Old Town Square skate rink! Use traditional ice skates and skate regardless of the temperature! Open Friday through Sunday with extended holiday hours
Skate the Pond at Foothills – Now until January 5th
Skate, Gather & Celebrate at The Pond this winter! Bring your skates (or rent a pair) and hit the ice on Northern Colorado’s largest outdoor rink. Admission prices and hours of operation on website.
Holiday Lights around town
Celebrations of Nativities and Light – Now until February 22nd
Global Village Museum is excited to showcase nativities from around the world in all different shapes, sizes, and mediums. This exhibit brings to life the interpretation of the creche from different cultures and will also feature different festivals of light from around the world.
Timnath Holiday Lighting Festival – December 6th 5pm – 7pm
Join the Mayor of Timnath, accompanied by Santa Claus, will kick off the event by lighting up Main Street. The celebration will continue with carriage rides, ornament craft making, a delicious soup bar for dinner, holiday desserts, hot beverages and more.
Brewery Lights at Anheuser-Busch – November 15 – December 29, Fridays – Sundays, 5pm – 9pm
Witness the magic of twinkling lights during the fourth annual Brewery Lights at the Anheuser-Busch Fort Collins Brewery!
Winter Lights at the Garden at Spring Creek – December 13th – December 29th , 5pm – 9pm
Join us for one of Northern Colorado’s best holiday traditions! Stroll through the whimsically decorated and twinkling Gardens lit with thousands of LED lights.

Shops at the Foothills – November 23rd– December 24th
Also enjoy the giant decorated Christmas tree and ice skating on the East Lawn.
Santa’s Workshop in Old Town – Wednesdays – Sundays from 12pm – 6pm
Santa Claus is coming to Old Town! Children of all ages are invited to share their hopes and holiday wishes with Santa when they visit his workshop in Downtown Fort Collins.
Bath Garden Center – Sunday 1st, 8th and 22nd 11am-4pm
Bath Garden Center will host Santa Claus every Sunday in December. For just $5 per family, you can visit Santa, meet his reindeer, take photos in the festive greenhouse, and shop Christmas trees.
Jessup Farm Winter Festival – Saturday December 7th 2-5pm
Come enjoy Christmas on the Farm! Featuring free photos with Santa, a hot cocoa bar, ornament crafting and a Christmas Tree lighting!

Canyon Concert Ballet Presents: The 38th Annual Nutcracker
December 6th-8th at the Lincoln Center (check online for showtimes and ticket prices)
Canyon Concert Ballet presents their 38th annual production of The Nutcracker ballet. With a dazzling score by Tchaikovsky performed by the Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra, this is a rare chance to see a classical ballet accompanied by a live, full orchestra in Fort Collins.
Parade of Lights Preview with CSU Marching Band – December 5th 5:30-7 at Canvas Stadium
Kick off your holiday season as the CSU Marching Band lights up the night during the Parade of Lights preview in Fort Collins.
The Larimer Chorale: Candlelight Christmas Concert – Friday, December 6th at 2pm and 7:30pm at First United Methodist Church
Join the Larimer Chorale and special guest artists for a unique “surround-sound” presentation of holiday pageantry and wonder, featuring glorious seasonal music and our signature candle-lighting vignette
First Friday Art Walk – December 6th 6pm-9pm at Old Town Fort Collins
Enjoy a self-guided walking tour that celebrates creativity, culture, and community in Downtown Fort Collins 6 – 9 pm. From fine to funky, First Friday Art Walk showcases a spectrum of artistic styles to entertain and engage amateurs and art aficionado of all ages, interests and backgrounds.
For those who love that active Colorado lifestyle
December 7th at 8am in Windsor
Come race against Santa, Mrs. Claus and the elves in this holiday 5k run. Kicking off the Windsor Wonderland Event, competitors have the chance to earn cash prizes and enjoy coffee and donuts following the race.
Sweaty Sweater 4 Mile Run/Walk
Saturday, December 7th 9am – Noon
Calling all Ugly Sweaters… We want to see your most hideous, outrageous, bulky and unforgettable UGLY sweater running the Sweaty Sweater Race. This is an event for everyone, whether you are walking with friends, running for an award or even prancing towards the finish line for beer or hot chocolate.
Wednesday, December 11th, 7am-9:30am
Join other cyclists and commuters on the 13th annual winter Bike to Work Day! At least 50 free breakfast stations team up around Fort Collins to host the semiannual bike to work day. Visit the link above for a station map so you don’t miss your favorites, and have fun commuting!
