International Keyboard Oyssiad & Festival
7/29/19 -8/3/19 at the CSU Griffin Concert Hall
This is a five-day summer piano competition and festival featuring over a dozen guest artists and pianists in daily mini-recitals and five nights of riveting concerts by internationally renowned pianists, including Van Cliburn winners.
Art Walk August 2019 Featuring Emma Mannino *FREE*
6-9pm on 8/2/19 in Old Town Fort Collins
This month’s art walk features sketches by Emma Mannino at Trimble Court Artisans, live music in Old Town Square and two exhibits at the Museum of Art: the Michael Madrid photography exhibit features and “Our Planet” art compilation.
Bohemian Nights at New West Fest! *FREE*
8/9/19 -8/11/19 in Old Town Fort Collins
It’s almost here – the music event of the summer! Get ready for 3 days of awesome, free music in Old Town Fort Collins. This year’s lineup features headliners Bonnie Raitt, Tank and the Bangas, and Andrew Bird – you won’t want to miss it!
For the foodies
8/17/19 9am to 5pm at Civic Center Park
Ready to have a “peachy” time? Come by the Fort Collins Peach Festival! There are fun foods and beverages to try as well as activities for the entire family. Tickets are $5 or free for anyone under the age of 15.
Preserving the Summer: Canning
8/13/19 at 6pm at the Ginger and Baker Teaching Kitchen
Join us in the Teaching Kitchen as we learn the ins-and-outs of pickling and preserving. At this class, we’re canning: Spicy Dilly Beans and
Ginger Peach Jan while learning canning safety guidelines and tips.
For those who love that active Colorado lifestyle
Yoga on the Terrace *FREE*
Tuesdays at 5pm at the The Elizabeth Hotel
Join The Elizabeth Hotel each Tuesday at 5 p.m. for Yoga on the Terrace! CorePower Yoga will be leading a FREE 60-minute class on the terrace at The Elizabeth Hotel in Old Town (weather permitting). Space is limited and spots are first come, first serve.
8/3/19 at New Belgium Brewing
The FoCo Fondo is a daring gravel cycling adventure! Choose family-friendly 12- or 25-mile routes and make those end-of-summer memories together. Or challenge yourself with the rolling 50-mile route or the ultimate Bite the Bullet 100-mile gravel fondo!

Winston Churchill History Comes Alive *FREE*
7pm on 8/9/19 at the Harmony Library
Come see Kevin Radaker, Professor of English at Anderson University, portray Sir Winston Churchill. Over the course of an hour, he will describe his tastes and hobbies, the trials and difficulties of World War II and the growing Soviet threat in Eastern Europe.
8/17/19 – 8/18/19 at Northside Aztlan Community Center
Calling all superheroes, wizards, Trekkies, Sith Lords, steampunks, Whovians, cosplayers, & other fandoms! Bring the entire family for two days of fun, fandom & excitement, all ages welcome!
