As we reflect on this past year, we want to thank you for your continued trust in us. Caring for you and your families truly means the world to us, and we’re grateful every day for the relationships we’ve built with our patients.
This year we welcomed the wonderful Dr. Akrie! Many of you have already met him and experienced his clinical excellence, genuine compassion, and kind approach to patient care. He has also been an incredible cultural fit—fully aligned with our values, our team-centered approach, and our commitment to thoughtful, high-quality dentistry. You can learn more about Dr. Akrie here. We are so thankful to have found Dr. Akrie and can’t wait for the rest of our patient family to meet him!
We also want to share some news we’re excited about: we’ve decided on a new name! We will be transitioning to being called Collindale Dental in the coming year. While our name is changing, everything that matters most is staying exactly the same. We remain locally owned and led by our doctor team, and we’re as committed as ever to providing a high standard of care, thoughtful treatment, and a patient experience built on honesty, compassion, and long-term health.
As our team has grown, we wanted a name that reflects all of us—not just one individual. We also wanted a name that honors where we are rooted. That’s why we chose Collindale Dental: a name inspired by our home in the Collindale neighborhood. We truly love the community we’ve served for so many years and the patients who have become like family to us. Dr. Owens has always been the pillar of our practice and will continue to be—remaining an owner and a guiding leader as we move forward under our new name.
Dr. Owens and Dr. Rabun want to assure you that almost everything you are familiar with will remain unchanged. You’ll continue to see our same doctor team who you know and trust, supported by the same friendly and talented team you interact with at every visit. And our philosophy stays the same too—listening first, treating thoughtfully, and focusing on care that supports your whole-body health. In short: new name, same people, same values, and the same personalized care you’ve come to expect.
Over the next few months, you’ll begin to see our new name—Collindale Dental—on emails, reminders, signage, and statements. If you ever have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Our team is always happy to help!
