If your resolution is to read more booksâŚ
Mark your calendars with these events! On Wednesday, January 10th, come hear author Bryn Greenwood talk about her new novel, All the Ugly and Beautiful Things, in what is sure to be âbeautifulâ evening of literary insight. Or, if true stories of wild drama in our own backyard are more your style, come listen to Ian Neligh discuss his new nonfiction work, Gold! Madness, Murder and Mayhem in the Colorado Rockies on Saturday, January 13th. Finally, on Friday, January 26th, first-time author Dorje Dolma will be visiting Fort Collins to talk about her memoir, Yak Girl, on her life in Nepal.
All events held at the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce at 225 S. Meldrum St. at 6-7pm on their respective dates
If your resolution is to try new foodâŚ
The monthly foodie walk in Old Town canât be beat! Head downtown on Friday, January 19th, for a tour of the cityâs eateries, samples of local specialties, and fun facts about food production. You wonât want to miss it!

If your resolution is to find fun new ways to exerciseâŚ
The Polar Bear Run & Plunge can help you out with that! Come out to Horsetooth Reservoir on Saturday, January 20th, for a 5k and 1 mile walk/run, followed by an optional âplungeâ into the water! Donât worry; if youâd rather not freeze, you can hang out at the outdoor party instead for some more frosty fun. Click here for more information.

Check out the Off the Hook Arts Winterfest! Spanning seven days and eight events, this yearâs festival celebrates modern Hollywoodâs origins in the gifts and talents of immigrants in the 1930s and â40s. Complete with concerts, film screenings, lectures, and even a big band swing dance, youâre sure to find something that piques your interest!
