We’re sorry to hear that you are in need of emergency dental care, but we are here to help!
Before your appointment
- Please fill out the New Patient Paperwork as soon as possible!
- Have you been to another office recently? If you want to transfer xrays, please fill out the Records Release Authorization so we can arrange that, or if you are requesting records yourself, please make sure they are sent to us before this appointment.
- Do you have dental insurance? See below for details and please send us photos of the front and back of your dental insurance card to info@owensdds.com.
- No dental insurance? Ask us about our self-pay new patient special!
What to expect at your emergency appointment
Dr. Owens and Dr. Packer have a comprehensive approach to dentistry, but are always available to do an emergency exam that focuses on a specific area of concern. Our goal at this appointment is to get you out of pain or address your urgent concerns. Depending on the treatment you need, we may refer you to a specialist (for more involved root canals or extractions) or simply schedule a second appointment at our office to finish treatment.
Next steps
We would love to see you back for a comprehensive care appointment! At your comprehensive appointment, your dentist and hygienist will take a thorough look at your overall oral health, including a thorough examination of your teeth and periodontal (gum) health, a jaw joint and muscle evaluation, and an oral cancer screening. Our goal is to help you prevent future emergencies by proactively treating any underlying issues.
