Happy (almost) Halloween! We hope your fall is off to a great start, and that the month ahead brings you a scary good time! Not sure where to start? Check out the list below for some fun ideas to help welcome the new season.
Downtown Sessions Concert Series: Old Town Square
6pm, October 6th
Come enjoy one last outdoor concert before the warm weather disappears! Tonight’s show features Post Paradise, an indie/alternative rock band that accentuates each of its energetic performances with a laser light show. You won’t want to miss this, so grab the family and come listen to some great live music!
Taste in Timnath Fall Festival and 5K: The Town of Timnath
9:30am – 2pm, October 7th
“It’s beginning to look a lot like autumn…” (That’s how the song goes, right?) Especially in Timnath! Begin celebrating the new season with the Scarecrow 5K at 9am (register here), or join the fun afterward with pumpkin decorating, hay rides, a petting zoo, live music, delicious food, and more. See you there!
Colorado State Homecoming Weekend: CSU
October 13th-14
Whether or not you’re a proud CSU alum, the events of homecoming weekend are sure to bring a RAMbunctious good time to Fort Collins! Join current students and fellow alumni at the homecoming festival on the Oval and parade on October 13th. Then gather at the stadium on Saturday to cheer on the Rams as they take on the University of Nevada, Reno!
Halloween Enchanted Garden at the Gardens on Spring Creek
10am – 2pm, October 21st
Your kids can give their costumes a trial run at this Hallo-wonderful secret garden full of holiday delights! While there won’t be any candy at this celebration, the gardens staff will be serving up all kinds of fun activities for your little ones, and they hope to see you there!
Treatsylvania and Bow Wowvania: The Farm at Lee Martinez Park
October 27th-29th and October 28th
If you’re craving a Halloween celebration that’s a bit… sweeter, come to the Farm for trick-or-treating and hayrides the weekend of October 27th-29th. And, should Fido left out, bring your dogs in their Halloween best to Bow Wowvania at noon on the 28th, and let them trick-or-treat, too. Purchase tickets for either event at the Farm or at the Northside Aztlan Community Center, starting October 4th (for Treatsylvania) and October 5th (for Bow Wowvania).
