First, we wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who attended and helped with the first annual Owens Dental Fall Festival! We had such a wonderful time and can’t wait for next year’s event! Can you beleive it’s November already? Thanksgiving is just around the corner and the City of Fort Collins is filling the month of November with lots of things to be thankful for. Read on for some of our top picks this month, and enjoy the holiday!
For those seeking some family fun
Downtown Holiday Lighting Ceremony
Friday, 11/2, 5:30-7pm **FREE**
Join family and friends from the city of Fort Collins at the town’s annual lighting festival, and watch as Old Town glitters with the magic of the holiday season. Free to enjoy! Stick around for the First Friday Gallery Walk with business featuring local art until 9pm.
Santa’s Workshop in Old Town Square
Opens November 17th! **FREE**
Santa is coming to Old Town! Beginning November 17th, you can bring the family to visit his workshop from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM every Wednesday – Sunday.

Come welcome in the holiday season at the Estes Park annual “Catch the Glow” event! Activities for the entire family start at noon, then stay for the parade featuring lighted floats and bands. This is one event you won’t want to miss!
For art, music and theater lovers
We’re certainly lucky to live in a town with such an amazing music school! November marks the start of the CSU concerts: these include senior recitals as well as ensemble and faculty performances. Be sure to check CSU’s website for the complete listing of performances!

Sponsored annually by the Book Trust, which helps promote literacy in schools throughout the area, this event offers an opportunity to talk about the power of books in education, and learn about the mission of the Trust.

Colorado State University Veterans’ Day 5k

Support CSU student veterans with disabilities by registering for this 5k — which uses proceeds to fund scholarships for them! Beginning on the CSU Oval and taking participants throughout campus, this event promises to be a fun way to raise money for a great cause.
Candlelight Yoga with Core Power

Join New Belgium for a Candlelight Yoga Session in their Brew House! Space is limited, $5 per class (cash only at the door). Proceeds benefiting Yoga Foster.
Fort Collins Thanksgiving Day Run

Thanksgiving
11/20 – 11/23 – Just a heads up our office will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday! Don’t worry, we will have a dentist on call in case there are any emergencies while Dr. Owens and Dr. Cook are gone. Have a wonderful and safe holiday!
