May the Fourth Kessel Run
Thursday, May 4th, Library Park. Check-in begins at 5pm
Dust off those light sabers and join the Poudre Valley Library District at this Star Wars themed family fun run/walk around the Old Town library! On your quest to become a Jedi master as you complete your walk, you’ll encounter tons of fun activities to test your skills; then, stick around and join the library staff inside for more food and fun!
Northern Colorado Writers Association Annual Workshop
May 5 and 6, Fort Collins Marriott, all day
Aspiring writers: join the Northern Colorado Writers Association for two days of workshops and panels on every component of the writing process across a variety of genres. Association members can attend for a discounted rate; register here.
Art in the Greenhouse
Saturday, May 13th, 10am-12pm
Gulley Greenhouse and Garden Center
Beginners and experts alike are welcome to join Loveland watercolor artist Trish Murtha for this refreshing watercolor class. For the ultimate immersive experience, you’ll paint botanicals while surrounded by them! The event is $35 to attend, and all materials will be provided. Space is limited, so sign up today!
Old Town Car Show
May 20, 2017: 10am-3pm
Downtown Fort Collins
Motor on over to Downtown Fort Collins for the Old Town Car Show! Step back in time and wander the streets of historic Old Town while admiring the variety of vintage automobiles on display. Free for spectators, this event is one the whole family can enjoy!
The French Nest Open-Air Market
Begins Saturday, May 20th, 9-3pm
Civic Center Park, Downtown Fort Collins (Laporte and Howes)
Continue your outdoor stroll on May 20th by joining a variety of local vendors selling a delightful collection of vintage and artisan handmade goods at the French Nest Open-Air Market! Enjoy the food and fun offered by Northern Colorado’s only open-air craft market, at what’s sure to be a wonderful celebration of warmer weather and the start of summer.
